Zbigniew Michalewicz
Internationally renowned new technologies expert, Zbigniew Michalewicz has published over 200 articles and 15 books. These include the ground breaking Adaptive Business Intelligence (www.AdaptiveBusinessIntelligence.com.au) and Winning Credibility: A guide for building a business from rags to riches (www.Credibility.com.au). Zbigniew is the Chair Professor in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Adelaide, and serves as Chairman of the Board for SolveIT Software.
Zbigniew Michalewicz has over 25 years of academic and industry experience, and possesses expert knowledge of many Artificial Intelligence methods and modern heuristics. He has led numerous data mining and optimisation projects for major corporations such as General Motors, Pernod Ricard Pacific, Ford Motor Company, Bank of America, ABP, McGuigan Simeon Wines, and Dentsu, and for several government agencies in the United States of America, Australia, and Poland. Zbigniew Michalewicz has also served as the Chairman of the Technical Committee on Evolutionary Computation, and later as the Executive Vice President of IEEE Neural Network Council. His scientific and business achievements have been recognised by countless publications, including TIME Magazine, Newsweek, New York Times, Forbes, and the Associated Press among others.
Zbigniew Michalewicz holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the Technical University of Warsaw; a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Polish Academy of Science; and a Doctor of Science (Habilitation) degree in Computer Science from the Polish Academy of Science.

Senior Research Engineer
Adam Ghandar
Adam received a first class honours degree in Computer Science (Mathematics) from the University of New England. After which he has worked on various projects involving evolutionary computation methods. He is currently also a PhD student at the University of Adelaide examining the usage of computational heuristics within financial markets and serves as the senior research engineer for FinHeuristics.
Thuy To
Thuy completed a PhD from the University of Technology, Sydney in financial econometrics and pursues research in the area of credit risk management, where she is currently working on a half a million dollar project financed by the Australian Research Council. She is also a lecturer in finance at the University of Adelaide. |
