Andrew has a long track record of success in the financial services industry.  Starting in real estate, he moved into the financial planning sector in 1984, becoming a Regional Manager for a  large financial planning group and later a Dealer Principle prior to forming his own financial planning company.

He went on to establish a superannuation and wrap account provider, Symetry Ltd which eventually grew to have $1.4 billion of funds under advice.  This company employed 52 staff and was sold to CBA in 2004.  Another successful business development was HFS Pty Ltd which was a venture capital provider that developed product designs to the financial services industry.  This business was recently purchased by another large institution.

Andrew has also been active in contributing to the financial planning industry.  This includes service on a number of both national and state boards of  professional bodies, as well as being highly engaged within the tertiary sector, particularly as a contributor to financial education by writing courses for Deakin University on topics ranging from the ‘The Philosophy of Money Management’ to ‘Portfolio Design’.  To ensure he is conversant with the latest trends in the industry he regularly attends industry conferences.

He brings to the Board a track record of successfully designing, implementing and developing financial products.  His network of contacts with other financial industry professionals will ensure that FinHeuristics is not only at the forefront of innovative product design but is appropriate to current markets.
